Hi, my name is Jedi and I am a professional tutor with six years of experience working with University students (including international students), students with special needs, and K-12 students. I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and tutored students in subjects such as chemistry, calculus, and physics during my Undergrad years. Throughout these years, I have worked with several tutoring agencies and I have developed skills in aiding students develop their learning skills by developing an academic plan, providing accountability, and leveraging educational tools to maximize student success.
Some of the services that I provide include but are not limited to teaching English to International Students, tutoring Business Finance students with lower and upper division courses, providing support for students with learning disabilities, and exam study sessions. In addition, I also have an international background as I was born in the Philippines, raised in Dubai, and I currently reside in the United States.
My background enables me to understand the struggles of language learning and has enabled me to determine a system that will allow me and other students to become proficient in picking up on languages.
